Search Engine Friendly Adsense Sites

The Adsense Blueprint No Comments

It makes no sense to get into building adsense websites without first having at the very least a basic understanding of how search engine optimization works.

Tools that are of use when it comes to on-page optimization for Search Engine Friendly Adsense Sites are:

Web CEO
Google Sitemaps (kind of)
Instant Article Wizard Pro
Site Report Card

Tools that are of use when it comes to off-page optimization for Search Engine Friendly Adsense Sites are:

SEO for Firefox
Niche Directories
Site Report Card
Link Building (don’t worry I’ll give some tips)
UGC (user-generated content–and don’t worry here either, I’ll give some tips)

Ok, hold on. Here we go!

Before I get into how each one of these can help. Let me just say that you must must must concentrate on your niche directories. Ah yes, the niche directories coming back into play. I talked about those a couple of days ago. Now, they are coming back into play in the context of my writing. Getting these directories up will save you time and money.

Yes, that’s right–the truth you did not want to hear. It’s going to cost you money to get your adsense sites going (if you haven’t already figured that out). I’m going to post soon on the cost of making money with adsense.

Now, I didn’t think I wanted to end this post this soon, but I want to make sure that each one of these tools gets the attention it deserves when it comes to building up your sites. So, I’m going to make a different post for each one of these tools. I’ll try to get these posts up (including the post on the cost of making money with adsense) as soon as possible so hang in there.

But before I go today, let me make sure that you are making sure the keyword that you are optimizing for (on one of your pages within one of your adsense sites) has at the very least these key features:

1) The keyword must be in your title tag
2) The keyword must be in an h1 tag on your page
3) The keyword must be in bold on your page
4) The page that contains the keyword must have an on-site link coming to it with the keyword (i.e. if your keyword on a certain page is “lasagna” make sure that you have a link going to this page with the word “lasagna” in the anchor text.) The html would look like this:

<a href=”/path/to/lasagna-page”>lasagna</a>

The word “lasagna” between the open and close <a> tags is the anchor text. Also this link must be on a page that is visible by search engines. This means that whatever page this link is on must be either the home page (index) of the website or must have a link to it from the home page or another page that is linked to the home page. Remember, search engines are “intelligent” bots and the only way they know that you have a “lasagna” page is because you have links from page-to-page. The page with the link “lasagna” cannot be a stand-alone page. If it is a stand-alone, it will not be found by search engines and, in turn, your “lasagna” page will not be found either.

5) If at all possible, secure a link to your keyword page from another site. Now, pay attention because you could gain an advantage here if you do this correctly. Google has a pagerank system in which they rank the importance of pages on a scale of 1-10 (ten being the highest). The higher pagerank that you can secure a link from the better. Ideally, you would have a topically-related site with a high pagerank link to your keyword page. If your keyword is “lasagna”, a topically-related site could be one that is about “pasta”.

Also, when it comes to pointing to your sites with an outside link, be careful to keep your niche directories on different web servers (or hosts or IP addresses–for purposes of adsense, all mean the same). I have all of my adsense money sites on the same server, but have all of my niche directories on different servers. This way, I do not get “penalized” by Google for having links on the same server pointing to each other. This could be viewed by search engines as link farming (kind of), but more adequately link spamming.

No need to point your money sites to each other. Remember, if you saw the diagram from my earlier post, let your niche directories point to your money sites. Build up your niche directories and they will take care of your money sites.

And, before I go today, just a word, if you are reading this far, pat yourself on the back, you are willing to do more than most. I read an interesting statistic the other day that 65% of adsense publishers are making over $100 per month. I’m not in that category yet, but I know I’m going to be in a short period of time. Are you coming with me? Leave your comments and questions. I’d like to help.

Getting Tons of Unique Content at a Low Price

The Adsense Blueprint No Comments

If you’re just joining me, I have adsense tracking installed on twenty sites in three different niches. This tracking includes google adsense channels, google analytics, and astracker (AKA adsense gold OR site super tracker). Now, a big question I had when I started researching adsense over a year and a half ago was how can I get loads of fresh content (unique content) that is related to the niche that I am “gunning for”? And, I came up with a couple of different solutions. In no particular order, I have three decent solutions. One solution is Keyword Elite (by Brad Callen), another solution is Instant Article Wizard Pro (by Jonathan Leger), and the other is Adsense Wealth Empire (by Roy Oron and Maayan Marzan). All three are good solutions. Let me give you two different rating systems for these content generating sets of software. One rating is speed. Another rating is quality.

Rating #1–SPEED (order of importance, 1 being the highest)

1) Adsense Wealth Empire
2) Keyword Elite
3) Instant Article Wizard Pro

Rating #2–QUALITY (order of importance, 1 being the highest)

1) Instant Article Wizard Pro
2) Keyword Elite
3) Adsense Wealth Empire

As you can see from the two different rating systems, the two orders of importance for the software are reversed. You can really crank some sites out quickly with adsense wealth empire, but the amount of control you have with the content the software collects (in relation to what keywords the content gets put with) is minimal. The content for specific keywords may go onto a page you would rather it not go onto. The content is randomized and several similar (but not really related) articles are placed with each keyword. Speed of site building is excellent. Quality of content is below average (compared to the other two options).

The second software is Keyword Elite. This is a quality piece of software that really does a good job digging and pulling related keywords within a niche you specify. Like Adsense Wealth Empire, this software allows you to pull content and use a template that you have or simply use one of the templates that they have setup already. Speed of site building is average. Quality of content is average (average because you are “stuck” with whatever content the software pulls for that keyword).

The third piece of software is Instant Article Wizard Pro. What an incredible piece of software. This software pulls content related to a certain keyword that you give it and quickly separates content into manageable sentences. You can pull sentences of content from other sources and construct your own unique highly targeted content for a specific keyword. Speed of site building in this manner is below average. Quality of content is excellent.

So now that you have the question answered on generating unique content quickly, you should be able to move forward and generate sites quickly. After you have sites and content generated to work with, you should be ready to focus on individual sites and get them ready for search engines. I’m going to go ahead and make another post so that we can briefly scrape the surface of search engine optimization.

Installing Adsense Tracking Materials Day #5 (Final Day)

The Adsense Blueprint No Comments

Woohoo! I finally finished installing adsense tracking materials.

The result: I have 20 adsense websites in three different niches that are now ready to be taken to the next level.

Up Next: I’m going to be going through optimization on-page and off-page to get your sites (and my sites) to the level in which they are going to receive high rankings in the search engines. Some of the things that I’m going to show you have to be done every day and some things only have to be done once.

When it comes to optimization, if you are willing to take the time you can almost certainly guarantee high rankings. And, on the contrary if you are not willing to take the time, you can almost certainly guarantee someone else is. Some adsense professionals are made up of entire companies. But, if you are like me, you are an army of one. So, what we need is to make sure that we are being very efficient with our time. And because I am only one person, I have to make sure that the time I spend building up my sites is well spent. So because I have a great idea where to go and what to do, I’m going to show you how to do the same. Get ready over the next couple of days because here we go.

Installing Adsense Tracking Materials Day #3

The Adsense Blueprint No Comments

It took me a couple of days to finish installing the adsense tracking materials I mentioned in my last post a couple of days ago. At this time, I have installed google analytics, adsense channels, and adsense gold (astracker) on one of my adsense niche set of ten sites. Now I can get a much more detailed look at what or who is bringing the traffic to my sites.

Tonight and tomorrow, I am going to finish up installing the adsense tracking on the other two niches that I have. One niche has 3 websites, the other niche has 7 websites. If you haven’t yet installed tracking on your sites, it is essential. If you can test what is working on your sites, then you can continue to improve what is working on your sites.

Installing tracking materials on your sites is only the beginning. Yes, it is a ton of footwork to go back and install the materials. But as I said before, if you already have a bunch of sites, don’t kill yourself getting them where they need to be–this includes tracking. Pace yourself. We’re trying to form habits here. We all know that it is better to work 10-30 minutes a day on your sites than working 2 hours one day out of the week on your sites.

Now, I’m going to need to make $200/mo with adsense, so we will begin speeding things up here soon. And since, I am a programmer, I have already begun developing tools of my own to help speed up the process, but because the tools are not quite ready for public use, I can’t let anyone else use them yet. But let me give you a couple of tips about installing tracking and why it’s important. These tips are not in any particular order. I’m writing them as they come to me.

1) when you install google analytics. Install it in an include if at all possible. The code below will suffice:

<?php include ‘http://www.’.$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'].’/google/analytics.js’;?>

This code can be dropped into any webpage in which the server can support php. This code also assumes that you have a folder called google in your public_html folder on your server and that a javascript(js) file is saved inside the folder. This ‘analytics.js’ file is where you save your google analytics code to. Drop this code at the bottom of each of the pages on your site right before the ‘</body>’ tag.

The benefit of doing this is that if you ever have to edit or change this analytics code, you only have to change it in one place and all pages will then be updated after that.

2) Tracking (such as astracker) is important because you can begin seeing trends on what ads are more popular (being clicked on more) than others. That is, the ads that more people are clicking on are ads that you should take note of and begin implementing across your site.

3) Tracking (such as analytics) is extremely important so you can begin to identify traffic trends and how visitors are arriving at your site–whether through referrals, search engines, or directly. Particularly you should pay particular attention to the keywords that people are arriving to your site through. This may help you target traffic (through seo) for keywords you never thought about.

So those are the quick tips and things on my mind today. After I have tracking installed on all my sites, I’m going to move on to seo (on-page and off-page) for my sites, and then link bait. And guess what, it’s a cycle. After I feel confident with the sites that I have, I’m going to begin building more. Seven months–$200/month. Are you with me? Are you already doing it? Installing Adsense Tracking Materials Day #1

The Adsense Blueprint No Comments

Ok, so today I’m keeping it short and sweet. I’m taking a brief amount of time this evening to install adsense tracking materials on several of my sites. As I have already said in the past, currently I have twenty “money sites” in three different niches. One of these niches has ten sites in it. I am going to take that niche and the money sites within this niche and make sure that I have tracking installed on these ten websites.

You may be wondering what kind of tracking I am going to be installing. I have given a quick synopsis of tracking materials in the past but have not gone into great detail about them. And again today, because today is an action day for me, I am not going to be going into great detail about them. In the near future I will, and I will even make some videos for you to watch as I go into greater detail.

Here is a list of the tracking materials I am installing tonight on these ten sites:

1) Site Super Tracker (astracker)
2) Google Channels (from adsense)
3) Google Analytics (from my adwords account)

These are going to be essential to me running successful adsense sites. If you already know the steps to take to install these, I urge you to take action now. Do what I am doing, don’t kill yourself–pace yourself. I am installing these adsense tracking materials on one of my niches tonight. Professional adsense tools for professional adsense publishers. Now’s the time, do the same for yourself now, and I’ll talk to you soon.

If you are new to adsense, understand that I will be doing videos on installing these on your adsense sites in the near future.
